One Day in Anaheim
Anaheim, a landlocked town in Orange County, California, is renowned around the world as the home of Disneyland. Disneyland is a wonderful theme park, but it takes more than 24 hours to experience it fully. Using this guide, you’ll learn about Anaheim’s lesser-known treasures and how to spend a memorable 24 hours in the city and rent cheap rooms Anaheim.
I. In the morning
You can kick off your one day in Anaheim with Roomsanaheim’s suggestions below!
1. Have Breakfast at Anepelo
The chilaquiles at Anepelo, a Mexican restaurant on the outskirts of Anaheim, are among the best in the area. The best version I’ve ever tasted is worth the effort to get there. Even the plating of the dish is done in such a way that it resembles a piece of art. Despite the dish’s appearance, the sauce is light and flavorful. Guacamole, salsa, and sour cream are served on top of the plate. A great but heavy way to begin the day.
2. Visit Discovery Museum
If you’re traveling with children, the Discovery Museum should be your next stop. The location is like a giant playground for children, complete with all kinds of fun things to discover and do. It’s a lot of fun, even for adults. Because of this, I believe that it would be an unforgettable experience for children. Check out the dinosaur’s interior, crawl into the middle of the black cube, then head outdoors to investigate the rocket.
3. Visit Bowers Museum
Bower’s Museum is a great place to visit if you’re here sans children. Many of the exhibits at this little museum focus on California’s history. The displays are interesting and educational, and the layout is excellent. Walking the gardens and seeing the exhibits should take around an hour.
4. Have Lunch at Mama Cozza’s
It’s been half a century since Mama Cozza’s first opened its doors. In 2010, an episode of Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives made it famous. When you walk in, you’ll see that it’s a modest “mom and pop” joint where many locals gorge themselves on the generous servings of pasta. The trio of pasta dishes, each topped with a different sauce, is one I highly recommend.
5. Watch a Baseball game or go shopping
See whether the Angels or Ducks are in town if you’re searching for something else to do. Attending a baseball or ice hockey game may be a lot of fun, and Anaheim has both. GardenWalk and Downtown Disney are also nearby options for anyone seeking to do some shopping while at the resort or in cheap rooms Anaheim.
II. In the afternoon
If you feel exhausted after lunch, you can return to your accommodation for a short nap before the rest of the day and night’s activities begin.
1. Have fun at K1 Speed
Go-karting at K1 Speed is one of my favorite pastimes in the city. It’s a great way to get your heart beating, and the go-karts are quite fast. A friend is a good idea because racing with someone you know is more fun than racing alone.
2. Have snacks in the afternoon at Pour Vida Latin Flavor
Visit Pour Vida Latin Flavor for some high-end tacos with a distinctive flavor. There are five fish, five beef, and four veggie tacos to pick from at this restaurant. The “tacos are cheaper than therapy” sign is a lot of fun to photograph, as is the fact that the restaurant itself says so.
3. Go to Ink & Bean for coffee
Walk around the downtown area and stop at Ink & Bean for a cup of coffee after tacos. Explore the fun stores for a few more minutes after having a cup of coffee.
4. Visit Bruery Terreux Brewery
One of my favorite California craft brewers is The Bruery, a local brewery in Orange County. All of Terreux’s sours are made at their Anaheim site. These beers are not for everyone, and they take some getting used to. You should definitely check them out if you haven’t already to see what your personal palate thinks. At the very least, it will be a one-of-a-kind experience.
5. Go to the Disneyland Park
The original Disneyland Park has been entertaining guests for more than half a century now. Disneyland provides everything for everyone, from rides and roller coasters to shops and street entertainers, restaurants, candy shops, and cafes. Visitors can meet their favorite characters, participate in parades, and watch pyrotechnic displays at the park’s several theme sections, which include the Wild West and the futuristic Tomorrowland.
6. Take pictures at Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC)
Don’t forget to stop by once the sunsets. It’s a great area to take pictures at night because the train station is lit up in a kaleidoscope of hues. If you have the time, I recommend adding this to your One Day in Anaheim list.
III. In the evening
You sweat a lot during the day when you engage in recreational activities. Why not shower and change into new clothing before going out to eat or engaging in other midnight pursuits?
1. Have dinner at Anaheim Packing House
Located in Anaheim, the Packing House is a trendy food court/restaurant. In the historic railroad building, there is a big open layout with a variety of food and drink options. You should prepare to walk around before making a decision because there are so many wonderful options and it’s always difficult to choose one over the others.
2. Join the Fantasmic program!
Fantasmic is the nightly show at Disneyland Park. Lighting, fire, sound, and spectacle are used to bring to life some of the show’s most mythical characters. The procession has floats, mechanical dragons, and fireworks that bring the action to life.
3. Walk around Downtown Disney District
Disneyland and California Adventure’s Downtown Disney area is an outdoor shopping, entertainment, and dining complex. All kinds of merchandise are available at the shops, from the most basic souvenirs to the most elaborate Disney-themed gear.
4. Eat something at M and M Donuts
Consider a trip to M & M Donuts, a local favorite in Anaheim, after the show. At around 9 p.m., when the fresh blueberry donuts are released, there is a long line at this doughnut business. I’ve waited more than 30 minutes for a warm blueberry doughnut here, but it’s always been worth it. A dozen of the warm blueberry donuts will be served in a pizza box if you order a dozen at once.
5. Drink and dance at the Rumba Room Live Club
It’s common knowledge that the best clubs in Anaheim can be found by driving up the 5 from Los Angeles. Our city has a vibrant nightlife of its own, therefore they’re mistaken. Clubs of various kinds are available in Anaheim, so no matter what type of entertainment you want, you’ll find it here. Our personal preference is for Latin-inspired dancing. That’s why we go to Rumba Room Live on a regular basis.
In the shadow of Disneyland, this day’s hot spot boasts one of the most vibrant dance scenes in Southern California. There is a distinct Latin flavor to the DJs and live music on Friday and Saturday nights. For those who appreciate dancing (or girls who enjoy dancing), this is the place for you. Shakira-like hip-shaking is the sexiest thing you can find in a woman.
6. Go back to your room and take a deep sleep
After a long day of activity and pleasure, what could be better than returning to your hotel and lying on a comfy bed? Our cheap rooms Anaheim are furnished, clean, and safe; There’s no need to worry about noise, so you won’t have to worry about a thing. It’s just a matter of getting a good night’s rest before continuing on to Anaheim tomorrow.
